SPIDER DEBRIS FLOW

Is a specific alert system for the Debris Flow phenomenon with a tear-off technology.

Particular climatic conditions, intense rains and orography of territory, can give rise to phenomena in which debris are dragged down from the mountain, and huge boulders go downstream with a disruptive force, capable of destroying bridges and houses. The prediction of these extremely localized phenomena is historically very difficult. With Spider Debris Flow it becomes possible and also safe.

Spider Debris Flow on site

Val Camonica: an area already known for landslides, has in recent years given rise to mudflows that have appeared suddenly and increasingly intense also because of localized rains. A known phenomenon, but potentially dangerous.

An area of intervention difficult to reach and complex to manage. Planning an alert system in these conditions would not have been easy except with a solution like Spider Debris Flow. The area was brought under control in a short time, without the need for external energy infrastructures or radio links, and allowing the immediate sending of alarms upon the occurrence of an important debris flow event.
